Program Aim
To provide participants with the tools to effectively deliver the FCPHP FIRST training.

Program Outcomes
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to: Understand basic facilitation skills; Understand adult learning principles and adult learning styles; Practice facilitation skills; Practice facilitation of the FIRST program

Target Audience
Florida Department of Health (FDOH) trainers, other Centers for Public Health Preparedness (CPHPs) and/or their partner designees, as well as FCPHP potential trainers.

Program format
Onsite program - 12 hours (with required pre-work 3 hours). Pre-work: FIRST Train-the-Trainer pre-assessment (online); Train-the-Trainer curriculum (to be mailed upon registration). On-site 1 1/2 day program: Day 1 - (4 hours, hours to be determined) Train-the-Trainer review & practice and FIRST program facilitation practice; Day 2 (8 hours) FIRST program facilitation practice. Post-work: FIRST Train-the-Trainer post-assessment (online).
