Stress Management and Resilience Training for Pandemic Influenza Response Workers - (SMART)

 

Target Audience: Florida Department of Health Special Needs Shelter Team members, Florida Department of Health Epidemiology Strike Team Members, Florida Department of Health Nursing Strike Team members, other Florida Department of Health personnel, State of Florida Disaster Behavioral Health Response Team members, and other disaster response workers.

Presentation Goals:

Develop an awareness of stress and stressors associated with pandemic influenza and response workers.

Recognize stress responses, reactions, and related conditions.

Promote strategies to help pandemic influenza response workers manage stress and practice self-care to maximize their stress resistance and resilience.

Presentation Length: 2 hour on-site presentation.

Continuing Education: This presentation is NOT approved for continuing education credit (CECs).

Registration Information: This presentation is limited to 40 participants.

Registration Fee: There is no registration fee.
